This member study group facilitates preparation for certification. The dual focus of the group is to learn the BABOK and to practice for the exam. Participants will learn tips and tricks for how to study, build their professional network, and be guided through the process of applying to sit for the exam. By the end of the study group sessions, participants will be able to submit a successful exam application, know the BABOK, and have taken and studied multiple practice exams. Participants will earn up to 18 training hours as credit toward their certifications.
The group will focus on preparing participants for the CBAP certification. People seeking CCBA or ECBA will find this group very helpful in their preparations and are also welcome to join. Eligible participants are members of the IIBA Minneapolis St. Paul chapter and enjoy a discounted rate of $25 per person. 
 
The fee covers the full course and all materials. This includes admission to all study groups sessions, CBAP Certification Study Guide v3.0 by Watermark Learning, the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) version 3, and access to Watermark online practice exams. Note the Minneapolis St. Paul chapter is offering the BABOK v.3 free as a PDF and the study guide at a 60% discount from retail price.
 
Participants will receive the CBAP study guide via USPS after completing enrollment.
 
The Fall study group begins on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and meets on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 PM for 12 sessions. The last session is on Wednesday, December 16, 2026. The session on October 7, 2026, is an Alumni Reunion meeting chiefly for alumni of previous study groups. No session will take place on November 25, 2026, due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
